About Signature         

Signature Contemporary Craft is all about the connection between the hand, the mind, and the heart.

Craft is defined as a skill requiring manual dexterity. The gallery shows a broad range of distinctive objects made by hand that are the best examples of this ability, combined with thoughtful, innovative design, a passion for materials, and the concepts of the individual making the piece.

We strive to promote the importance of craft practice. We want to develop a broader understanding of handmade one-off pieces and a desire to acquire this work. Exhibitions are presented throughout the year showing a range of work including jewelry, objects for use and decoration, and sculpture.

Our makers are free from the constraints of the production line. Each piece is an individual work of art with its own history and sharing its story with our customer is what we love.

We encourage you to come in to experience beautiful and important works of local and national significance and to support independent artists and makers in your own community.

History
Founded in 1962 by designer and craft devotee, Blanche Reeves, as the Signature Shop & Gallery.

Good Things to Know

Our Work: All of objects that we sell hand made by individual artists and are either one of a kind or made on a limited basis. We offer gift certificates in any amount that will be gift wrapped and can be shipped according to your instructions.

Our Website: Our site may list an occasional incorrect price. While we make every effort to ensure these mistakes do not happen we do not honor the incorrect prices. In the event of an error we will inform the customer before the order is processed & the customer will have the option to continue with the order or cancel.

Forms of Payment: We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Personal Checks. For credit card security, we use a Quick Secure Socket Layer Web Server Certificate that assures that confidential information and transactions cannot be viewed, intercepted or altered.

Shipping: We ship by UPS and the U.S. Mail.
For international shipping we will quote you the shipping charges before shipping.

Returns: Items can be returned within 30 days after purchase for store credit or exchange only. Items must be returned in original unused condition and original packaging. Shipping and Handling costs are non refundable.

Be sure to use a shipping service that provides a tracking number and adequate insurance to cover full cost. We do not take responsibility for damaged and lost return shipments and the return shipping costs.

We will notify you by email once we have received and processed your returned item(s).

Please check all the packages upon delivery. Should a shipment arrive damaged or an item has a defect please notify us immediately at 404-237-4426.

Be sure to save the inside packaging, outside box and all the packaging materials, since UPS will pickup the damaged shipments.
