Andrew Clark

Andrew Clark is a ceramic artist and teacher that has been working with clay since 2007. Andrew makes functional pottery out of his studio in Jackson, Tennessee. He also manages Companion Gallery and teaches community art classes at East Mitchell Clay.

"I am interested in making pottery influenced by engineering.  Using ancient techniques and materials like clay and terra sigillata I seek to combine traditional pottery with modern machines and devices. Through a process of problem solving and engineering I try to make functional pottery that goes beyond the typical use."
