Kemp Mooney

Kemp Mooney, the architect and the educator, has been an influential part of the art and architecture scene in Atlanta and beyond. Mooney graduated from Clemson University and received his Master of Architecture from Yale University before he was 25 years old, and presented at the Venice Biennale in his early 30s. He has been teaching with various architectural programs since 1966.  Moody is known for stating, “This is the hand that has shaken the hand…” of many important personalities of his time and our time (Paul Rudolph, Buckminster Fuller, Robert Venturi, Steven Holl, and Rem Koolhaas to name a few). Through his extensive studies, travels, and amazing library, he is a delightful storyteller, artist, and architect.
