Making It BIG: Large Pots By Five Women Potters

Making It BIG: Large Pots By Five Women Potters

Making It BIG was inspired by an anecdote of shoppers incredulous at the fact that the mammoth pot they were looking at was indeed made by a woman. This exhibition is aimed at challenging these sorts of gendered assumptions regarding scale and ceramics.

Participating artists include: Maria Dondero, Erica Iman (pictured), Zoe Powell, Hitomi Shibata, and Kate Waltman.
