This textile assemblage is inspired by architect Adolf Loos and his unbuilt house designed for Josephine Baker in 1927. It is about: making whole cloth from repurposed garments, no cloth waste, responding to the cloth structure, relationship of cloth to sound and movement, 20th century dance. It is two sided, measures 54 x 48" and is made of repurposed linen garments, cotton remnants, voile and wool. It has been machine pieced and hand stitched.
