David Robinson's elements are the relics and debris of various civilizations, including our own. They refer to shards of ancient pottery, figurative religious devotionals, fertility goddesses, and Neolithic tools and amulets….the work and products of the human hand. Combined with these art-historical elements are contemporary artifacts as well, including organic and inorganic debris, suggesting industrial waste and even household refuse. This piece measures 48 x 62 x 3.5". Ceramic with glaze, underglazes, mason stain and oxides. Please reference 24DR04 when inquiring about this piece.

Bought one of his pieces at the High Museum. I can't stop loving it. This is by far one of the best modern ceramic pieces I have a pleasure of owning. Can't wait to see what he will come up with next. Thank you.
